Question related to after effects

So I’ve never been drunk before, aside from last night. And i got pretty messed up, I only remember taking about eight swigs of Jim bean but I’m also fairly sure that’s a high concentration drink, is it normal to feel a weird pit in your stomach and slightly nauseous even after almost a full day? I did also have a few beers then but nothing since. (I’m 5’9 and weigh 156lbs btw) but this is just a concern I have since I never drink
