Is 3 beers a lot?

I’m a 6ft, 200lb, 21-year-old male staying with my mom for this month. At the occasional opportunity to drink alcohol (maybe once a week) such as celebrations or relaxing evenings, I prefer to drink 3 beers. Every time I mention this, my mom is utterly shocked and complains that I’m drinking way too much. She says that 1 is enough and 2 is too much.

I’m wondering if I really am drinking too much or not. I feel like I drink in moderation, only for a buzz, and generally don’t like getting drunk. What do you guys think?
