Sipping vs chugging a jägerbomb

Me and my sister were talking yesterday, and she said I drink my jägerbombs wrong. I love jägermeister, it’s my favorite liqueur. I use “sipping” lightly, it’s more of like a swig, but that’s how I drink my jägerbombs. I know you usually chug them, but I really don’t see the difference in chugging one vs just drinking it regularly. I’m ingesting the same amount of alcohol, so what’s the difference?
