Is 20 year old smirnoff safe to drink

So my mom has these smirnoff bottles that has been in the cupboard for years, today she decided that she would drink these and when we took them out they were yellow??? I don’t know much about alcohol so I was wondering if these were safe to drink, I really hope they don’t kill me lol
