Drink of the Week: Lustau Dry Vermouth

Lustau has become synonymous with the premium vermouth category with a range that includes rojo, blanco, rosé, and, newest to the U.S. market, dry. The venerated House of Lustau is known for incorporating sherry into its vermouths, lending a distinctive character that brings new dimension to its expressions.

Made with manzanilla sherry from Sanlúcar, Spain, Lustau dry vermouth is snappy and bright with a slight salinity. The botanical bill includes thyme, marjoram, chamomile, wormwood, and orange peel, which form an herbaceous and citrusy backbone that blends beautifully into cocktails.

Lustau dry’s briny umami character works especially well in the Martini and its relatives, with the vermouth’s salinity making for a deliciously crisp cocktail. Click here to check out availability near you.
