Effects of different alcohol?

For the past two years I’ve drank beer every weekend to get drunk (besides the occasional mimosas during daytime and wine on dates). This past weekend I drank vodka instead to switch it up. I went out with my friends and was just acting plain out weird. They said I was acting angry and I remember feeling pissed off the whole night. This never happens when I drink beer, I used to drink vodka all the time in high school and early college and it never happened then. I know that it’s said the type of alcohol doesn’t matter when it comes to mood, and if it does it’s placebo…but has anyone ever experienced something like this? I’m not an angry drunk, I’m quite the happy one. Weird.
