Question about alcohol as vasodilator
Hi all, My situation is I always have a runny nose and sneeze + cough up flem often year round (it’s like I have allergies year round) but when I drink, my sinuses clear up and it feels like I can actually think and breathe…
I’m writing this while being able to breathe through my nose directly while I’m sober I’m constantly mouth breathing because of clogged sinuses.
Additional info:
My grandpa on mom’s side has history of alcoholism. Not sure how huge of a factor this may be in how I may be physiologically affected by this?
I exercise regularly and am super lean + drink tons of water.
I have adhd and take adderall(~7.5mg 3days out of the weekday). When I drink it feels similar to when I take adderall minus the racing feeling.
Trying to understand if this is because alcoholism runs in my family genetically or bc it’s a vasodilator
