Any suggestions for what drinks to try?

Turning drinking age in my country soon and I’d like to try some new drinks. So far I know that I like drinking lager and I find flavoured drinks most people my age drink really boring. I like the way whisky smells so I think I’ll try that after getting some lager, any suggestions for which brand?
