just found out a real life cheat code

i like to just sip on some 190proof alcohol sometimes (i know thats fucked up but please don’t judge me), i definitely developed some kind of tolerance to the taste but it still has a strong taste. BUT, what i found out is that after eating a cup of 1 minute rice (basmati) the everclear had absolutely no taste and no heat to it, it was just like drinking a sip of water. i think it might be due to some oils in the rice protecting my mouth and throat but im still dumbfounded by the fact that it completely cancelled the taste of a spirit so strong that it could be used as gasoline or paint thinner. anyone else had this happening to them?
