Pito rico 106 water?

My sister bought Pito Rico rum shooters at the puerto rico SJU airport. One that she bought was 106 and tastes like water also no smell. She bought me their elite one, which is less alcoholic but definitely tastes and smells like normal rum. Wondering if this has happened to anyone else or if there is any explanation.
