Is sugar necessary for creating certain types of alcohol? Which types? Liquor?
I don’t think using refined extracted sugar is necessary for creating wine and beer, right? Because people were creating wine and beer for a long time before refined, extracted sugar was created (or at least widely used by different societies)
But is it necessary for creating liquors like whiskey, vodka, etc…?
