Red Splotchy Skin

Sometimes when I drink liquor or hard alcohol I get red splotches on my skin. Mostly on my face and forearms, wrists, hands, and fingers. What causes this? I don’t think it’s an allergic reaction because I drink the same liquor and mixer frequently and don’t have the same issue.
