My ouzo didn’t turn white.

I bought a ouzo philippos because they said that was the best ouzo. I am familiar with rakı so I drank it like rakı mixing it with water, I know it should turn white but it didn’t whats the issue?

Edit: It did turn white when i kinda shaked the glass after adding ice.
