Moonshine help

I bought some legal shine called Contraband. It’s a local based distillery from my home town. I always loved whiskey and moonshine, but this stuff here is sour as hell and gives you the shivers down your spine. I don’t want mix drinks, but I fear that’s what will have to happen with this stuff. Anyone know how to make it less sour/harsh of a taste? To me it tastes almost like chewing hay or almost like taking weed buds and chewing that. If you bought this, how would you enhance it?
