Changing drinking habits.

I’m a 35 year old male having trouble with beer mostly. I only drink beer, not any other alcoholic drink. I cut way back my drinking habits. I used to drink from the morning until i blacked out. Now i drink 3-5 0.5L beers a day, sometimes i don’t drink any. Sometimes when i start, i can’t stop. When i wake the next morning i feel embarrassed, i regret and i don’t drink for next 2-3 days. I exercise daily, walk 10km or mountain bike 20km. My blood tests are perfect, AST, ALT, GGT are at the normal range, but i just feel a little worried for drinking those 3 beers daily and it only happens at 2 PM. If i eat a snack or something, my desire to drink goes away. Has anyone had similar drinking problems?
