Bizarre headache/toothache after any alcohol
I used to drink pretty regularly, usually 3-4 nights a week, around 4-5 drinks each night. I rarely ever ended up with hangovers. I cut way back a few years ago, and now I maybe drink a couple craft beers one night a week.
One of the reasons is a bizarre headache I get after consuming any alcohol now. It could be just one beer, and suddenly a dull ache settles in at my top left molar and extends up to my forehead. If I drink more than that, this toothache/headache will destroy the entire following day, throbbing at my molar and extending to a specific spot on my left forehead/temple area. It’s incredible frustrating, as it makes it hard for me to even drink socially. I’ve tried everything for prevention, taking vitamin B before bed, Tylenol, even drinking a 3 pints of water, but nothing stops this throbbing headache from occurring. I never had anything like this, even in my days of excessive drinking.
I’ve had the tooth checked out at the dentist and there’s been no issues with it. It’s such an oddly specific issue, and I was wondering if anyone out there has experienced something similar or has any tips on how to prevent it.
