Are drinks like seltzers/light beer really easier on your body than liquor?
I very rarely drink liquor at all, and if I do it’s only a shot or two. My go-to drinks are always lighter stuff with a low alcohol content… Yes, I may drink more of them than I should…but my theory is, they are mostly water, so there should be at least some hydration as opposed to drinking shots of 40 proof liquor with just a small amount of mixer/chaser. And also the fact that lighter drinks give me a nice chill, relaxed buzz as opposed to being “drunk”….I actively try to not get drunk, even though I have always had a high tolerance for everything.
TLDR: Are lighter drinks with more water in them actually less bad for your body than liquor? Or are they equally as bad?
