Green Corona chelada Limon y Sal almost took me out

This is an all points bulliten to people who have never had the Green Corona chelada Limon y Sal.

I’ve been drinking Whiskey and vodka ever since I was 16. I used to drink a bottle to myself every Friday night and feel almost perfectly fine in the morning. Now I’m down to half a bottle on Friday nights and I haven’t had a hangover in several years.

However, I was with a friend from Mexico the other day and we decided we would get fucked up and go to Six Flags and then watch a marathon of Dragonball Z together while drinking. I had 3 Corona Celada green tall cans throughout the day. I felt just fine until I woke up in the middle of the night. My heart was pounding out of my chest. I had a severe fever, muscle convulsions and cramps, headache, and wild unstoppable vomiting. My brain felt like I had sustained some sort of permenant damage since the first time I had been drinking. Corona chelada is only supposed to be like 4% alcohol so I don’t know what could have happened. My roommate took me to the emergency room and they kept me in the Intensive care unit because they were afraid I was going to have a heart attack. They hooked me up to an IV but even then I was vomitting bile faster than they could put whatever they were putting in me, in me. Its Thursday night now and I was in the ER until wednesday and I still feel fucked up. One of the nurses accused me of trying to unalive myself with the alcohol I drank…

What happened? Im a fit 32 year old and nothing like that ever happened to me. Is it possible to get food poisoning from Beer?
