Anyone one else like this?

I’m fairly new to drinking (getting close to a year since my first drink) and when I’m taking shots I have no problem. When I get a little drunk but still want to take a shot or two more, it gets very difficult to swallow. Not like I’m going to throw up or anything just that my body is making it difficult for me to swallow the liquor. Anyone else experience something similar?
