Anyone find that simply having a lot of food & water is enough to prevent hangover?

I’ve seen so many different hangover prevention tips or hangover cures and I honestly find that as long as I eat a big meal either right before I drink or while I’m drinking + drink LOTS of water, then I’m usually pretty much fine the next day.

I drank last night and had to wake up at 8am today and was honestly worried as I felt nauseous last night. But I had a big greasy meal while I was out and was sipping on water all night and then drank more water when I came home and was sipping on it all through the night when I’d wake up as I tend to wake up a lot during the night.

Managed to wake up at 8 and felt pretty much fine. Still felt a bit bleh and slightly sickly while I was getting ready but then had a big greasy breakfast a couple hours after waking up and now I feel completely fine lol.

Just wondering how many people have the same experience? I don’t find I need any kind of special vitamins or those IV things you can put in your drink or whatever.
