would it be bad if i took a shot of homemade vanilla extract?

my sister made homemade vanilla extract by infusing vanilla beans in vodka. we ran out of liquor in the house. the only thing left is that vanilla extract. is it gonna be safe to drink or should i not do it? is it gonna mess up my stomach? just curious.
