Can you change some ingredients in a drink recipe and still call it the same name?

I was planning a signature drink for an event I’m hosting but honestly am not the biggest fan of the alcohol used. Could I switch out the alcohol type and still use the drink name? The drink name is the important part because it goes with the theme
