Anybody find this disturbing?
So lately on my latest grocery receipts I’ve been finding alcohol is cheaper than say actual food and water. I understand what sub I am on and normally this should be cause for celebration but with the latest economic hardships I find this trend inappropriate. I believe alcohol is a gift that should be enjoyed responsibly so when it seems our current economy is saying it’s a bargain to be an alcoholic I have to in good conscience call it out. What’s even more disturbing is hard liquor has become discounted since before the COVID times.
