alcohol smell in car

So, my wife went out with some friends the other night and the next morning I got in her car to go somewhere and there was a strong smell of blueberries. I asked what that was all about and she said, well, i was drinking blueberry vodka the night before and probably had a few too many…must have been that. Obviously, she shouldn’t have been driving, but has anyone here ever had their car smell like booze after a night out? I’m wondering if something else was going on…
