What is wrong with me?

Just wondering if anybody else shares or has shared my struggle. I feel like as a guy I’m kinda supposed to like whiskey but for some reason I’ve only been able to enjoy it mixed with soda. I can’t drink it neat or on the rocks no matter what whiskey I try but I’d really like to find a whiskey that I could drink in that manner. Any suggestions?
