Best Before Date

I was out for dinner (Nov 2023) and noticed that the most recent best before date available to be notched on the bottle was June 2023.

I called my server over and said that my beer was past it’s best before date and asked for a new one. His manager came over and said that it’s fine and said something about it being the date it was manufactured..? Manager wouldn’t get me a new one or take it off my bill.

Based on the bottle – was it past it’s best before date?
