How long does smell stay in room

I got the window open a little with a fan blowing out I drank on rum n Dr Pepper for like 4 hours and I could smell it by my desk I had them capped sitting next to my window blinds we have inspection in a couple days I thought it wouldn’t smell that much cuz it was mixed but how long would it take to go away on it’s own like how I have it.
