Drinking after wisdom teeth surgery

I just got my wisdom teeth pulled, all four of them and I was wondering if I could drink. I’m not on any kind of strong medication just some ibuprofen and that was almost 7 hours ago. It’s also been 5 days since I got them removed and Iv been taking good care of them. I still am in pain but I want to drink at this party I’m at is that a bad idea to do?
