44(m) Sudden loss of interest to all alcohol

I am a 44 year old male. I have been drinking since I was 17. Never had an issue with it but was a binge drinker in my 20’s and 30’s with friends. In my mid-30’s I slowed down but still loved to drink when I went out and would have occasional binge nights. In the last year or so I have developed an absolute hatred for alcohol. The taste, the smell, the hangover after and even one drink makes me feel horrible. I get flushed, congested and feel horrible from a single beer. I haven’t drank in months and I feel like a million bucks. Wondering if anyone else has experienced a sudden disinterest in alcohol and if so when?
