Whats with the recent stigma against drinking at home?

We spent 3 years in covid and we all had to drink at home, and many of us realised we prefer a chilled drink at home by the tv than travelling to a nearby bar to get ripped off with overpriced drinks and the loudest music you’ve never recognised. So why all of a sudden has it become “weird” to drink at home? when I tell my mates I might drink at home and watch a film on my own they act like I’m a weirdo or some alcoholic hiding himself from the world. Anyone else noticed this as of late?
