alcohol neuropathy

I’m 18 and in a friend group who love going out, drinking, day drinking etc etc. and i enjoy it too, however as of recent i’ve been noticing that the next morning i have a really difficult time with this feeling of numb hands, feet etc. The only thing is that this feeling has started to occur even after i haven’t been drinking, or i get pins and needles really easily etc. I’ve googled symptoms of alcohol neuropathy but surely if i drink as much as everyone other 18 year old that can’t be the case? Does it develop over months or years?
