I ordered a double old fashioned

This is a splash of simple syrup, a splash of orange bitters, and then she just up-ended the bottle of rye. The worst old fashioned I ever had was when the bartender opened her recipe book and then I heard something being whisked which tasted as awesome as you would imagine. So if I’m going to have a bartender make a mistake I honestly don’t mind this one, but holy shit. This is a missed-flight special.
