I like to buy alcohol, but I never drink it.

I guess I am curious if there is anyone else going through something similar or what it might mean. I have a shelf of alcohol bottles in my pantry that I rarely touch. Today I wanted to make sangria, so I went out and bought all the ingredients, made the sangria, and now it’s sitting in the fridge and will probably sit there until it goes bad because I have no desire to drink it. Same happened with making negronis. I bought all the ingredients and I don’t use any. Just… what the heck? Does this sound weird to anyone else?
