Are delayed hangovers normal?

So yesterday I had only 3 shots of vodka with my friends..I’m 18 and I don’t drink alcohol too often..if I do it’s usually with my parents.. just a little whiskey mixed with coke..but yesterday I had shots for the first time ever..I ate while we were drinking and we spaced out the shots..I felt completely fine in the morning and now in the evening I’m starting to feel a little shitty..is this normal? :’)
