The best thing to drink if you could only drink once?

I grew up in an adamantly no-alcohol home, which means I’ve never drank and know literally nothing about alcohol. I want to try it out at least once, and since I like the sober lifestyle it might be the only time I ever drink. What’s the best alcoholic beverage I could possibly try?

Price is pretty much off the table. I’ll splurge and buy a $500 bottle of liquor if it really is the best one to get.
