I peed on myself while drunk and can’t remember if it was in my friends car

I was really drunk and when I saw my clothes (jeans) the next morning it smelled like pee. I can’t remember where it happened but I think it was in my friends car. I told her about it and she said it didn’t smell like anything. Will it take a while for the smell to come up after it dried or would she have been able to smell it right away if I did?
