Best tasting shots?

I’ve had Smirnoff vodka & mount gay rum many times and both are equally disgusting. I’ve also had baileys Irish cream which wasn’t bad.

What’s the best/easiest thing to down straight that doesn’t taste like dirt water or a mule kicking your trachea on the way down?

I’d prefer to keep it under the $35 range unless it’s to die for.
