Why twisted tea?

So I have a question here. Does anyone else get drunk from twisted tea? Because I can hold my alcohol really well. Liquor rarely gets me drunk but if I drink a twisted tea I’m gone. Granted, I usually drink the twisted tea after I’ve already had a shit ton of liquor so maybe that’s why it feels like it’s the twisted tea, but I truly don’t feel drunk until after I drink the twisted tea. Is it because those two different alcohols are mixing? Someone give me some insight here I’m curious.
