Why does all alcohol taste bad (to me)?

Before people suggest that I’ve drunk cheap wine/beer/straights etc. that’s far from the truth. I’ve honestly tried my best to experiment with lots of alcohol and really give it a chance. I’ve tried beer in Munich at Oktoberfest, I recently went on a wine tour on Waiheke Island in New Zealand, and I’ve drunk the majority of the strong stuff out there too.

I don’t know if there is something wrong with me but if I’m offered a coke or a beer, I’m taking the coke 100 times out of 100. In fact if you offered me any kind of alcohol for free for the sake of enjoyment, I wouldn’t want it. I purely only drink for the social side…

Is there anyone else who’s been in the same boat as me before? And is this something that changes with age? FYI I’m 20 years old, and there isn’t a legal drinking age in my country (only a legal purchasing age) so I’ve been introduced to it for several years.
