Is 3 beers 1 pint?

When I go out with my partner he’ll have two or three bottles of beer. Which to me I think is over the limit to drive on? He said that 3 beers (coronas 330ml) would equal a pint but I don’t think it works like that? He had 3 in the space of two hours so I’m not sure if that’s over the driving limit. But I can’t find any research to back me up 😟
