Alcohol Intolerance?
I’m not quite sure where to ask this so I’ll bring it up here. In context, I’m susceptible to migraines.
Basically, I’m not a drinker. My taste buds simply refuse alcohol because, personally, it’s gross and gives me headaches the entire day. I still drink occasionally a shot or 2 but that’s about all I’ll do.
For new years, I decided to do that same thing. I drank a shot and a half of vodka (with juice of course) and ended up with headaches (and a flushed face). Woke up completely tired the next day but no symptoms of the night before.
I thought it was genetics but my parents and sister both drink with no issues. I’m not sure if it’s because my body can’t tolerate alcohol or I’m just extremely lightweight? I’ve never felt tipsy nor drunk even when drinking more than usual but I definitely felt like shit.
Anyone know what this all might mean? Any insight would be appreciated!
