Anyone Drink while taking alka seltzers (severe cough)

Long story short, I am coughing like crazy and have been taking one alka seltzer a day to survive since Tuesday. The wrapper says to not take if you have more than 3 drinks a day because they can cause stomach bleeding.

Tonight, I am definitely gonna drink around 4 beers and maybe some wine and maybe some whiskey at a Christmas party. The last time I drank was Monday when I had 2 beers and a whiskey sour. Before that, I hadn’t drank in a couple weeks.

Am I freaking myself out for no reason? Or should I skip/lower the drinking? Not taking the alka seltzer is not an option; I cannot be seen like this in front of the in laws and the alka seltzer fixes me completely within minutes.
