How do you guys view Marijuana?

As someone who has smoked weed before, I just wanted to know what certain alcohol users think of weed.

My dad drinks alcohol and the fact that he looks down on weed smokers but acts a bit brainless when hes drunk pisses me off, and I just hate how weed is stigmatized but alcohol isn’t (at least in the western world).

EDIT: I am not judging alcohol or people who drink it, I just think it’s weird that alcohol is okay with most of society but marijuana isn’t
