Is it ok to drink with the goal of getting drunk 2 nights in a row? I didn’t get drunk off almost a pint of vodka?
Alright so I’m 21, and I’ve been drinking pretty habitually throughout this year. I tend to be a bit of a binge drinker, and was just drinking on Fri/Sat nights before because I had school, but I’m out of school until January and so that’s maybe turned into like, once or twice a night throughout the week if I really feel like it. Maybe three times? I haven’t really been keeping track but it’s not more than 3 times a week at the most. I drink at home.
Anyway, last night I decided I was going to drink vodka, tequila, and cherry coke all mixed together. I should mention it had been at least, like 2 days since I last had anything to drink. But I had about three drinks total, which was more than half a pint, and almost the entire bottle of my tequila. Except, I didn’t get drunk at all? I felt a little hungover this morning but it wasn’t horrible, just some minor nausea and discomfort but after eating that went away.
I’m really weirded out to be honest since that’s the amount I usually drink, but it’s not the first time I’ve had an unusual reaction to alcohol. Like one time I made a pretty horrible tasting drink mix out of some sailor Jerry and soda, and took literally 3 sips.. went to bed, woke up hungover, like throwing up and all… and then this time I didn’t get drunk at all? Like that’s… weird, right?
But anyway, I’m thinking about drinking again tonight, and would it be a bad idea with drinking two nights in a row? I do have a quick doctors appointment tomorrow but that’s not until like 3 PM and it’s over the phone just to check in on some medication I am taking.
But like would it be harder for me to get drunk tonight? Would I get withdrawal? Appreciate any input given!
