Can a person completely get over Taste Aversion?

A little context here: Around 2017 I had a terrible drinking night, drank about 8 bottles or so in that night then i puked which was way more than i thought that I could handle.

A few days after that event I noticed that just slight sip makes my stomach ache, then over these 5 years I’ve stopped drinking, only trying to drink on some special events. Now fast forward to this year I tried to drink the same beer as much as I could now I think I can handle drinking again but still it upsets my stomach unless i have a lil snack.

So my question is : If i try drinking maybe a bottle a day or so would I be completely get over my taste aversion?
