Am I an alcoholic?

I’ve been addicted to weed for 3 years now and as soon as I stopped I swapped to alcohol. I’ve drank every day this week. Not enough to be drunk every time, but most. I’ve also gone to work drunk twice. I hate that this is my reality but don’t know what I can do. Is weed better than alcohol? Am i fucked no matter what i do? Help me!
