600 mg Ibuprofen yesterday, can I drink tonight?

Took an 600 mg ibuprofen around 1:30 yesterday for a headache, everywhere I look says to wait 72 hours but I thought a day apart was fine. Would it be okay to drink later tonight more than 24 hours apart? And if I take an Advil now in the morning, would that be a bad ide?
