Does canned beer smell?

So basically I am 18 which is the legal drinking age where I live, I’m planning to go get me a 6 pack but the problem is my parents are so heavily against drinking I would get kicked out if they find out (religious shit). So I really just wanna know how easy it is to conceal them, I’m not afraid of them finding the cans but I am afraid that they might be able to smell that shit or something. Will it stink up my room? Also don’t get on my ass because I’m very new to drinking idrk these things lmfao
